Ganesh Kamath, has been working as a senior grade lecturer at Melaka Manipal Medical College (Manipal campus), Manipal University since July 2004. He completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc. General Microbiology, Vysya College, Madras University) in year 1998 and Masters of Science (MSc. Medical Physiology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University (Formerly called Manipal Academy of Higher Education) in the year 2002. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Manipal University. He completed the two year (June 2009-2011) Foundation of Advancement in International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) fellowship at Seth GS Medical College (GSMC) Regional FAIMER Institute, Mumbai. He is actively involved in research related to Physiology, Medical education and Pancreatitis. He is also involved in community service by helping with activities for the Manipal hemophilia society, Manipal chapter.
